Everyone believes they know how to communicate effectively. Unfortunately, we are incorrect. Even the best communicators fail to connect with their audience most of the time. Working with peers in a human laboratory, our talents come alive, versus reading the concepts from the written page. The work of effective communication is exhausting, but the rewards of acquiring skills last a lifetime. We become better educators, better co-workers, and better people. Why improve as communicators?
