Life Skills Youth Conference

E-mail Print PDF

chooseadearbookThis six day/five night conference challenges attendees to develop their life skills - leadership, respect, relational skills and personal responsibility through a variety of creative approaches and various media.  Participants engage in problem solving initiatives with both individual and communal areas of achievement.  They are asked to continually give and receive feedback about their experiences and are encouraged to be aware of their improvements.

Participants leave with a deeper understanding of their gifts and talents, as well as, the skills needed to become a leader in their school or community.  With Masonic support we are fostering the spirit of service in our future leaders.

The program also includes active discussions of some of the toughest issues facing students today: drugs and alcohol, violence and conflict resolution, teen sexuality, and others.  This camp program is based on the model of the Life Skills Youth Conference offered by the Pennsylvania Youth Foundation.  The camp is open to youth between the ages of 11 and 16.

CA - "Thank you for investing your time, facilities, and monies to the future of our world in our youth. I'm proud to say my dad was a Mason!"
